Today is Labor Day, which means no school or bento today. Instead I’m posting about what I did with leftover Portuguese sausage, SPAM, and kamaboko that I had in the refrigerator. I had only a little of each as well as some rice from dinner last night, so it was perfect for making fried rice. I cooked the meats with a little bit of oil and then added in the kamaboko and cold rice. I seasoned it with a little oyster sauce, shoyu, garlic salt, and pepper then finished it by adding in green onions and some frozen peas and carrots. Our family enjoys eating our fried rice with an easy over egg on the top as well. Happy Labor Day!

Bear Breakfast Bento
Today’s bento post is dedicated our good friend Trina who is battling cancer. Trina is an amazing woman who is both beautiful inside and out. I am so thankful that she calls me her friend and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate and love her. We are all praying for you Trina!

Homer Simpson Breakfast Bento
This morning, I made Mark a Homer Simpson breakfast bento to take to work. Crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, on buttered and toasted bread with strawberries and grapes. Mark kind of reminds me of Homer- he’s rough around the edges and but funny with his over the top antics. Mark makes life exciting for us all, that’s for sure. :)
