Pac Man Sammy #108

Okay gang, think back to when you were a kid !  Now can you remember the first video games that you played?  Well Pong was the first video game that I ever played and the second was Pac Man!  I figured Pac Man made for a more interesting bento than Pong, so I made that for Sean’s bento today. :)  Sean and I actually shared this one because it was far too much for him  to eat.  He ended up eating the grapes, strawberries, the trail mix (minus the almonds) and the three cheese ghosts, so I ended up with the Pac Man sandwich and a salad (not pictured).

Anyway, Happy Aloha Friday and I hope that you all have a great weekend!

Very cute. And it brings back such memories…

  3. cute! I should have thought of that! my little one would’ve liked that. Are the ghosts sandwiches? they look more like different cheese put together.

  4. Yay, I love Pac Man, one of my favourite childhood games! In fact I still like it now. :D

  5. Tulip cutters for ghosties! Love the idea. Pac Man is awesome. Those old classics will live on forever!

  6. Again you’re so clever! I love the ghosties and the look on their faces are priceless! Yes pong was my first video game too…and I’m older than you! I’m just happy you remember it!

  7. I love hoe you layered the cheeses so the ghosts were thick. Very cute!

    • Thanks Heather! :) I just layered the cheese slices and cut them that way. Only works with the singles type and the kids love to peel and eat the layers one at a time. :)

  8. Love Pac Man when I was a kid. And my kids still play this game in the whole different version from mine. Great idea to put this into a bento! Have a great weekend for you and family (^.^)

  9. oh yes, pac man! i was so awed with this simple game. now, the kids would probably think the game is boring and graphic could be better..
    cheers/karen

  10. You are so amazingly creative!! I love it! And Susan, thanks so much for your encouragement.. I so appreciate it. : )

  11. Awesome! I was (and still am) so terrible at Pac Man, and most video games, which is funny, since I used to test games and software for a living. Ha!

The only game I ever was good at was Astro Smash! I had blisters from playing that game.

    Cute bento!

  12. The ghosts look perfect and where did you get that cherry tin/cup? So adorable!

    Aha… Pacman!

A couple of years ago, one of the seniors at my school dressed up as Pacman on the Friday before Halloween (dressing up is a senior tradition – and Haloween was the day after). He even had a little tape recorder that played all the related sounds and music.. (e.x. when he sat down, you’d hear that noise that Pacman makes when he loses a life, etc…)

  14. Aw, thi is to cute! My fiancée would be happy to have this ^.^ He is such a computer freak, he would smile from one ear to the other! Thanks for this great picture!

  15. Wau!! I love this bento so much, it make me think of my childhood video game. You are always creative, Susan. Do you mind I borrow your idea? I think my boy will surely love it (^o^)
